Dr. Raju A Gopal is a Consultant Endocrinologist from Kozhikode in Kerala who worked as Senior Consultant Endocrinologist at Baby Memorial Hospital for 7 years before establishing first super speciality Endocrine and Diabetic Clinic in North Kerala- ENDODIAB Clinic.

Dr. Gopal did his DM training in the Department of Endocrinology at KEM Hospital in Mumbai, one of the largest teaching institutes in India. He worked with Dr. P S Menon, one of the most senior Endocrinologists of India, and with Dr. Nalini Shah, a Paediatric Endocrinologist. The department annually handles 30,000 patients in various categories. Here he gained valuable experience in the sub-specialties of Diabetes Mellitus, Reproductive Endocrinology and Thyroid, Metabolic Bone, Pituitary / Hypothalamic, Puberty & Growth and Adrenal Gland Disorders. Dr. Gopal also underwent special training in the management of diabetic foot diseases.

Dr. Gopal has delivered more than 150 guest lectures at various conferences and seminars and has published 23 papers, most of them in International journals. He is on the panel of Expert Reviewers for journals such as the Journal of Postgraduate Medicine, Journal of Pancreas and Indian Journal of Medical Research.

Dr. Gopal has expertise in techniques such as RIA, IRMA and CLIA used for estimation of hormones as well as in various techniques for biochemical estimation of plasma glucose, serum calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase, HbA1c, etc.
